Family Fall Bucket List

Fall Bucket List - East Petersburg, PA

Experiencing the fall season in new ways or practicing old traditions are great ways to celebrate the season. Cooler weather and luscious scenery provides the opportunity to take in nature in new ways. We here at Lancaster Nissan have a few items to add to your family’s fall bucket list.

Take a Hike

There are few ways to bond with your family that are better than taking a hike. Pennsylvania is full of areas with scenic fall foliage that will leave families, especially those with young children, speechless. Topping off the day with apple cider or hot chocolate is just an added bonus that the kids will enjoy!

Visit a Haunted House

Fall brings scenic views, cooler weather, and the start of the holiday season. Halloween kicks off a string of holidays and the perfect way to get in the spirit is by taking a tour of a haunted house. Local haunted houses have become quite popular which means you won’t have to go far to get a quick fright!

Paint a Pumpkin

Carving a pumpkin can be messy, what with all the seeds and other pumpkin insides. On top of that, young children may not be able to carve their own pumpkin. Fortunately, families of all ages can still decorate pumpkins with paint! Get creative with bright colors and interesting faces, then put it on display for the neighborhood to see.
